The iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable iPhone, opening into a 7.6-inch display that is 50 percent larger than the iPhone 18 Pro Max’s screen. Its 5.4-inch outer display shares the inner panel’s aspect ratio, keeping the same proportions with the phone closed. A front-facing camera sits beneath the inner display, leaving the viewing surface free of a notch or camera cutout. The A20 Pro chip carries over from the 18 Pro line, while separate batteries occupy opposite sides of the hinge. Titanium forms the frame and matching hinge cover, with Ceramic Shield front and back and resistance to water and dust. The Duo starts at $1,999 from Apple. Touch ID replaces Face ID, putting fingerprint authentication in the side button—a departure from the facial recognition used by every other current iPhone.
